Comanche County Pet Resource Foundation
Transforming the Way Our Community Cares For Pets and Their People

Pet Care Reimagined

The Comanche County Pet Resource Foundation has the primary mission of keeping pets at home and out of shelters. We will accomplish this mission by bringing animal welfare organizations and community members together to develop partnerships that support the bond between pets and people.
Our long-term goal is to have a facility that will offer services such as community education, low-cost veterinary services and an adoption center. The facility grounds will have a managed dog park, walking paths, picnic tables and a café. We understand that this is a huge goal and it will take several years to fund, design and build the Pet Resource Center. We also understand that our community and the pets who live here can't wait.
We have established community programs and have partnered with organizations throughout the community to provide as much help as support as we can while the Pet Resource Center is being established.
We also understand that we can't do this alone. It will take community involvement, city support and working in partnerships with existing animal welfare organizations, rescue groups and our community partners. Together, we can make a change.
Urgent Need

One of the biggest problems we are facing in Comanche County is access to low cost veterinary care. It is a leading cause for owner surrenders, animal abandonment and euthanasia.
We are committed to developing programs that support pets and families in need of basic veterinary care such as spay/neuter and vaccination programs. This program will help save so many pet lives. The time to act is now. If you can help, please donate to the link below.
