Volunteer with the Comanche County Pet Resource Foundation
How You Can Help
The Comanche County Pet Resource Foundation is an all-volunteer organization. The success of the Pet Resource Foundation is dependent on community involvement and support. We can't do this alone. Your help is needed and now is the time to get involved! You can help to develop and design programs that will help our pet community and their families. Here is a list of how you can help.
-
Be a lost pet detective, helping to get pets back home safe without having to enter the shelter system
-
Provide rehoming counseling and information to help people rehome their pets without having them surrender to shelters
-
Offer behavioral support, enrichment and training for pets to prevent owner surrenders
-
Serve as case managers, speaking one-on-one to pet owners facing barriers to keeping their pets
-
Help to provide food and supplies to pets in need throughout Comanche County
-
Transport animals in need between shelters and rescue organizations, within Comanche County and throughout the State of Oklahoma
-
Help with administrative work
-
Develop website and social media content
-
Lead fundraising efforts within the community
-
Become a grant writer
There are so many ways that you can help! We are happy to talk with you and support any talents you may have.
